Fiorentina Star Chiesa Transfer Target Of Juventus, Bayern, & Real Madrid
Federico Chiesa was set to stay in Florence one more year, but with his head coach gone the Fiorentina star could move this summer.
Federico Chiesa is a hot name on the transfer market — partly to do with his famous surname, but mostly to do with his incredible ability at just 21 years old. The Fiorentina star has been linked with moves away from the club for almost as long as he has been in the first team, and those rumors took another step forward in Wednesday morning’s edition of Italian sports newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Juventus, Inter, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid are all said to be weighing up the option of submitting bids in the region of €70 million this summer amidst real instability in Florence. The Viola have just fired their head coach Stefano Pioli and rehired former boss Vincenzo Montella as supporters have carried out a series of protest against the club’s penny-pinching owners.

The youngster was set to stay at the Tuscan side for at least one more year in order to aid his continued development, but this may well change his — and his father Enrico’s — mind. Unless Fiorentina can win the Coppa Italia, they have no chance of reaching Europe, and for this reason it could be an interesting transfer window with so many desiring Chiesa’s signature.
