Azzurri Star Moise Kean Is The Future For No. 9 On Italian National Team
After a series of failed strikers, the Azzurri have finally found their man in 19-year-old Moise Kean.

Tuesday morning’s edition of Italian sports newspaper Corriere dello Sport focused on the superb form of 19-year-old Juventus star Moise Kean. The youngster was selected to start by Italy boss Roberto Mancini in a 2-0 win over Finland last Saturday, and that faith was duly rewarded with a goal on his debut.

That strike was the first by anyone born in the new millennium to have scored for Italy, as the Vercelli-born player became the second-youngest player to have found the back of the net in those famous blue shirts.
Thoughts now shift to a second Euro 2020 qualifier, as the Azzurri face a home clash versus Liechtenstein, where Kean is expected to command a place in the starting lineup once again. After the likes of Ciro Immobile, Andrea Belotti, and Mario Balotelli have all failed to find consistency in the central striker role, it seems like this youngster has suddenly become the future of this national team.
“Never again without Kean” read the headline. This may seem far-fetched after just one appearance, but those who have seen him play know very well that he has a long Italy career ahead of him.
