WEEKLY AWARDS
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Eliot Goldthorp, Hofstra
Junior | Midfield | Leeds, United Kingdom / Woodhouse Grove
Goldthorp notched a goal and three assists in a 2-0-0 week that ran No. 19 Hofstra’s unbeaten streak to nine games. The junior from the UK assisted on the game’s only goal in a midweek win over Binghamton before factoring into all three scores as Hofstra defeated Elon, 3-0, in a rematch of the last two CAA title games.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Wessel Speel, Hofstra
Senior | Goalkeeper | Utrecht, Netherlands / St. Bonifatius College
Speel repeats as Defensive Player of the Week after adding his fifth and sixth shutouts to his league-leading total. The senior from the Netherlands made two saves in a 1-0 win over Binghamton and turned aside three Elon shots in a 3-0 road victory as No. 19 Hofstra remained undefeated since the start of September.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
TJ Hastings, Delaware
Freshman | Defense | Middletown, Del. / Appoquinimink
Hastings contributed to both goals and a lockdown defensive performance in Delaware’s midweek shutout of George Washington. The freshman from Delaware scored his first career goal and assisted on the other while playing 76 minutes defensively and holding the Revolutionaries without a shot on goal.
